Meet Audrey

Hi. I’m Audrey Bodman.

Founder of the Employer Call Academy website and Director of Outshine Telephone Training & Resources a training organisation. I’m also a mother of 2 boys and 2 very mischievous and energetic boxer dogs!

👉 At the beginning of my career, I got bitten by the sales bug. My first job as a junior at a food and drinks company saw me up-selling products over the phone and I became addicted to my success in doing so. I then moved to a regional newspaper, still selling, and quickly climbed the ladder to supervise and coach my very own group of internal sales people.

But the real turning point for me came in my role as a job club leader at a non-profit organisation. It was here that I evolved from selling goods and services to helping transform the lives of others through building relationships and generating opportunities. And I loved every minute of it..

👉 After a while, I decided that I wanted to focus on staff within Employability, Skills & Social Care industry to replicate my results and feel confident doing so. So, I set my own training business Outshine  and started delivering in-house training  all across the UK. Past and present training clients include organisations like Shaw Trust, Ingeus, Leonard Cheshire, Babington Business College, Public Health, Nottingham Trent University, Councils, NHS Trusts with Employability teams, Mencap, Leeds Mind and Scope to name a few. For over 25 years I have been a successful trainer and coach in not only employer engagement but also customer service, business development and sales.

So ... Why
